Two weeks ago, I had the opportunity to attend ๐๐ช๐ฆ ๐ฃ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐๐ป๐ฒ๐ฟ๐๐พ๐๐ถ๐ฝ ๐๐ผ๐ป๐ฑ๐ผ๐ป ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฑ at the Amazon office in London, and I joined the ๐ฆ๐ฒ๐ฐ๐๐ฟ๐ถ๐๐ ๐ง๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ฐ๐ธ โ what an amazing experience!
Throughout the event, I was able to:

Learn about many new features and services (shared under NDA and to be announced in the coming months)

Gain insight into the roadmap of AWS services for the next 2โ3 years
โ
Deep dive into Post-Quantum Encryption and better understand where AWS stands today and where itโs heading
โ
Explore how security principles can be applied to AI Agents, AI services, and data protection
But above all, the most valuable part was the ๐ฝ๐ฒ๐ผ๐ฝ๐น๐ฒ: connecting with brilliant professionals from Amazon Web Services (AWS) and other partners, exchanging knowledge and experiences, and building relationships that will last.
โจ Some highlights from the event:
โช๏ธThe expert panel with Brian Mendenhall, Himanshu Verma, Rob Hale, Axel Clauberg and Ryan Orsi, some of the most important personalities at AWS with a strong focus on Security. There were many interesting questions, especially regarding the ๐๐ช๐ฆ ๐๐๐ฟ๐ผ๐ฝ๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ป ๐ฆ๐ผ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ถ๐ด๐ป ๐๐น๐ผ๐๐ฑ. ๐ช๐บ
โช๏ธThe workshop on ๐๐ฒ๐ฐ๐๐ฟ๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐๐ฒ๐ป๐๐ ๐ฎ๐ฝ๐ฝ๐น๐ถ๐ฐ๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป๐ run by Shweta Shrestha Thapa, where I got hands-on with Amazon Verified Permissions applied to Amazon Bedrock agents. ๐ค
โช๏ธThe deep technical talks from Patrick Palmer โ my favourite was the session on ๐ฃ๐ผ๐๐-๐ค๐๐ฎ๐ป๐๐๐บ ๐๐ป๐ฐ๐ฟ๐๐ฝ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป. ๐
โช๏ธThe talks from Louise Fox and Mehak Mann about ๐๐ฒ๐ฑ๐ฟ๐ผ๐ฐ๐ธ ๐๐ฒ๐ฐ๐๐ฟ๐ถ๐๐. It was a pleasure to meet you both and continue the discussion during the afternoon networking event. ๐ฅ
