AWS Community Day Spain 2025 ๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ‡ธ

Last Saturday I had the pleasure of attending ๐—”๐—ช๐—ฆ ๐—–๐—ผ๐—บ๐—บ๐˜‚๐—ป๐—ถ๐˜๐˜† ๐——๐—ฎ๐˜† ๐—ฆ๐—ฝ๐—ฎ๐—ถ๐—ป ๐Ÿฎ๐Ÿฌ๐Ÿฎ๐Ÿฑ in Zaragoza. ๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ‡ธ

As always, it was great to reconnect with the AWS community, catch up with friends, and meet new people who share the same passion for cloud technologies.

There were many interesting sessions, but two clearly became my favourites:

๐Ÿคฉ The opening keynote by รlvaro Hernรกndez Tortosa, the only AWS Hero in Spain. He explained some antipatterns and what can be achieved when you donโ€™t follow the rules. I think this is very important to fully understand how each service can be used and where their real limits are.

๐ŸงŸโ€โ™‚๏ธ The talk by Miguel Angel Muรฑoz Sanchez, who shared some horror stories from his years working with AWS. These were real incidents with significant impact that could have been easily prevented if detected early โ€” the kind of issues that are easy to forget or go unnoticed in day-to-day operations, yet can lead to major consequences.

๐Ÿค– Also, GenAI was a main topic in multiple talks where they explained different services like Amazon Bedrock AgentCore and Amazon SageMaker AI.

๐Ÿค— A big thank you to my employer Keepler Data Tech for sponsoring my trip, and to the amazing organizers and volunteers of AWS Community Spain who made this awsome event possible.

Looking forward to next yearโ€™s edition! ๐ŸŽ‰
