AWS Transfer Family has released 2 new Security Policies! ๐
These policies are:
– TransferSecurityPolicy-2024-01
– TransferSecurityPolicy-FIPS-2024-01
Also, the new default security policy for new servers created will be “TransferSecurityPolicy-2024-01”.
Although this update has not yet been announced in AWS News, the AWS Transfer Family documentation has been updated to reflect these changes. โ
These changes were not reflected in the Terraform AWS provider, so I created a Pull Request to add them and it was successfully merged!๐

Starting from version 5.38.0, you can enable these new security policy versions within your Terraform configurations. ๐ ๏ธ
